Installation

This ZIP is Agentic Commerce. After install it appears in WordPress as “Agentic Commerce” (left menu and Plugins list).

From acommerce.app (interim — recommended while WP.org is pending)

  1. Install and activate WooCommerce first.
  2. Download sygentic-ai-commerce-2.2.0.zip from the download page.
  3. In your dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  4. Select the downloaded .zip file and click Install Now.
  5. Activate the plugin. Free first-run does not open White-Glove Onboarding; A2A discovery is published. White-Glove is a Pro path.

From WordPress.org (when available)

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Search for "Sygentic AI Commerce".
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.2 or later
  • PHP 8.1 or later (8.3 recommended); openssl, json, mbstring, curl
  • WooCommerce 8.0 or later (required — install before the plugin)
  • Pro: license key from acommerce.app/pricing — managed AI, no API key
  • Free ZIP publishes A2A discovery on activate. No BYOK tab. Upgrade to Pro for managed AI, UCP, WebMCP, and checkout.

Initial Configuration (Agentic Commerce)

After activation, Free first-run is activate + A2A discovery. Pro unlocks UCP, WebMCP, and checkout. There is no BYOK tab.

  1. Free: A2A discovery: A2A discovery (/.well-known/agent.json) is published on Free. There is no BYOK settings tab. Checkout is Pro — not a Free first-run step.
  2. Activate License (Pro): Agentic Commerce → Settings → License. Pro unlocks managed AI, UCP, WebMCP, and checkout.
  3. Verify protocols: On the Agentic Commerce dashboard, review Agentic Protocol Status and run the smoke check. UCP, WebMCP, and checkout require Pro.
  4. Enable AI Agent Overlay (Pro): From the dashboard, enable AI Agents so WebMCP, UCP, and full A2A surfaces are served to crawlers. A2A discovery (agent.json) is already available on Free.

Agentic Setup

Agentic Commerce prepares your WooCommerce store for AI shopping agents — not catalog copy rewriting (that workflow lives in the AI SEO distribution).

Step 1: Open the Dashboard

Go to Agentic Commerce in the left admin menu. The dashboard shows protocol status, middleware diagnostics, and next-action checklists.

Step 2: Activate Pro

Purchase Pro at acommerce.app/pricing, then paste your license key under Settings → License. Pro unlocks UCP, WebMCP, and checkout. Free first-run does not include checkout setup.

Step 3: Run the Smoke Check

On the dashboard, use Run smoke check under Agentic Protocol Status. Fix any warn/fail rows before relying on agent checkout in production. Protocol surfaces are Beta — validate in staging first.

Step 4: Enable AI Agent Overlay (Pro)

Click Enable AI Agents on the dashboard. The plugin scans your site and serves agent-ready structured data via a lightweight JS snippet without modifying WooCommerce product data.

A2A discovery is Free; UCP, WebMCP, and checkout are Pro (Beta)

Agentic Commerce exposes machine-readable endpoints and embeds so AI agents can discover, evaluate, and complete delegated checkout on your store.

  • A2A (Agent-to-Agent): Free serves /.well-known/agent.json (A2A discovery). The JSON-RPC webhook for agent communication requires Pro.
  • UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol): Product discovery, quotes, and delegated checkout against your WooCommerce catalog.
  • ACP (Agentic Commerce Protocol): Roadmap — not enabled in this release. ACP checkout is not in this release.
  • WebMCP: Deterministic interaction schemas embedded in product page heads for browser agents.

Monitor live status on Agentic Commerce → Dashboard. Agent-initiated orders flow through your existing WooCommerce order pipeline — not unattended autonomy.

Pro License Activation

  1. Purchase a Pro license from the Pricing page.
  2. You'll receive a license key via email.
  3. In WordPress admin, go to Agentic Commerce → Settings → License.
  4. Paste your license key and click Activate.
  5. Pro features (managed AI, UCP, WebMCP, full A2A, AI Agent Overlay) unlock immediately.

Managing Your License

  • You can deactivate your license from one site and activate it on another.
  • License status is cached for 24 hours. Click "Check License" to force a re-validation.
  • If your license expires, Pro features are disabled but all generated content remains.

Does this replace my SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math)?

No. This ZIP is Sygentic AI Commerce, not an SEO or blog plugin. It does not include title, description, or blog generation. Keep Yoast or Rank Math if you need those workflows.

Do I need my own OpenAI API key?

No. Soft-launch Sygentic AI Commerce Free is activate + A2A discovery and does not include a bring-your-own API key settings tab. Pro unlocks managed AI plus UCP, WebMCP, and delegated agentic checkout — no vendor API key setup required.

How much does Pro cost?

Will this slow down my site?

No. All AI processing happens in the admin panel or via background API calls. The AI Agent Overlay (Beta) injects structured data client-side via a lightweight JavaScript snippet — no server-side rendering overhead, and no changes to your database.

Is my product data sent to third parties?

Pro subscribers' product data is processed by Sygentic AI Commerce's managed AI service — you don't need to configure a provider. Soft-launch Free is activate + A2A discovery and does not send catalog data to an LLM until you upgrade to Pro. Managed AI responses are discarded after the API call; we never store your product catalog on our servers for training.
