Installation

This plugin is Agentic Commerce. After install it appears in WordPress as “Agentic Commerce” (left menu and Plugins list).

From acommerce.app (recommended while WordPress.org listing is pending)

  1. Install and activate WooCommerce first.
  2. Download Free from the download page.
  3. In your dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  4. Select the downloaded file and click Install Now.
  5. Activate the plugin. Free first-run publishes A2A discovery and discoverability files; it does not open White-Glove Onboarding. White-Glove is an Agent Discovery path.

From WordPress.org (when the listing is live — not yet)

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Search for "Sygentic AI Commerce".
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.2 or later
  • PHP 8.1 or later (8.3 recommended); openssl, json, mbstring, curl
  • WooCommerce 8.0 or later (required — install before the plugin)
  • Agent Discovery: license key from acommerce.app/pricing — managed AI, no API key
  • Free publishes A2A discovery and discoverability files on activate. No BYOK tab. Upgrade to Agent Discovery for UCP, WebMCP, AI Agent Overlay, and managed AI. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap — coming when platforms open.

Initial Configuration (Agentic Commerce)

After activation, Free first-run is activate + A2A discovery and discoverability files. Agent Discovery unlocks UCP, WebMCP, AI Agent Overlay, and managed AI. There is no BYOK tab. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap — not available yet.

  1. Free: A2A discovery + discoverability files: A2A discovery (/.well-known/agent.json) and discoverability files are published on Free. There is no BYOK settings tab. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap — not available yet.
  2. Activate License (Agent Discovery): Agentic Commerce → Settings → License. Agent Discovery unlocks UCP, WebMCP, AI Agent Overlay, and managed AI.
  3. Verify protocols: On the Agentic Commerce dashboard, review Agentic Protocol Status and run the smoke check. UCP and WebMCP require Agent Discovery. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap.
  4. Enable AI Agent Overlay (Agent Discovery): From the dashboard, enable AI Agents so WebMCP, UCP, and full A2A surfaces are served to crawlers. A2A discovery (agent.json) is already available on Free.

Agentic Setup

Agentic Commerce prepares your WooCommerce store for AI agent discovery — not SEO titles, bulk rewrite, or Storyteller/content tools (those are not in Commerce).

Step 1: Open the Dashboard

Go to Agentic Commerce in the left admin menu. The dashboard shows protocol status, middleware diagnostics, and next-action checklists.

Step 2: Activate Agent Discovery

Purchase Agent Discovery at acommerce.app/pricing, then paste your license key under Settings → License. Agent Discovery unlocks UCP, WebMCP, AI Agent Overlay, and managed AI. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap — not available yet.

Step 3: Run the Smoke Check

On the dashboard, use Run smoke check under Agentic Protocol Status. Fix any warn/fail rows before relying on live protocol surfaces. Protocol surfaces are Beta — validate in staging first. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap — not available yet.

Step 4: Enable AI Agent Overlay (Agent Discovery)

Click Enable AI Agents on the dashboard. The plugin scans your site and serves agent-ready structured data via a lightweight JS snippet without modifying WooCommerce product data.

Protocol Surfaces

A2A discovery is Free; UCP and WebMCP are Agent Discovery (Beta). AI Agent Overlay requires Agent Discovery. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap.

Agentic Commerce exposes machine-readable endpoints and embeds so AI agents can discover and evaluate products on your store. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap.

  • A2A (Agent-to-Agent): Free serves /.well-known/agent.json (A2A discovery). The JSON-RPC webhook for agent communication requires Agent Discovery.
  • UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol): Product discovery and quotes against your WooCommerce catalog. (Delegated checkout remains roadmap.)
  • ACP (Agentic Commerce Protocol): Roadmap — agentic checkout is not available yet.
  • WebMCP: Deterministic interaction schemas embedded in product page heads for browser agents.

Monitor live status on Agentic Commerce → Dashboard. When agentic checkout ships, agent-initiated orders will flow through your existing WooCommerce order pipeline — not unattended autonomy. Agentic checkout is on the roadmap — not available yet.

Agent Discovery License Activation

  1. Purchase an Agent Discovery license from the Pricing page.
  2. You'll receive a license key via email.
  3. In WordPress admin, go to Agentic Commerce → Settings → License.
  4. Paste your license key and click Activate.
  5. Agent Discovery features (managed AI, UCP, WebMCP, full A2A, AI Agent Overlay) unlock immediately.

Managing Your License

  • You can deactivate your license from one site and activate it on another.
  • License status is cached for 24 hours. Click "Check License" to force a re-validation.
  • If your license expires, Agent Discovery features are disabled but all generated content remains.

Why leave Free?

Free is enough for discovery. Get Agent Discovery when you need UCP, WebMCP, Overlay, and managed AI on one site license.

What do I get when I click Get Agent Discovery?

You start Stripe checkout for an Agent Discovery license ($11/mo or $91/yr). After purchase, use the license key in Agentic Commerce → Settings → License. Soft-launch entitlement verification is still being hardened — checkout itself is the proven next step from Free discovery.

Is this agentic checkout for AI buyers?

No. Pricing checkout is your license purchase. Agentic checkout for AI agents is on the roadmap and not included in Agent Discovery today.

Does Agent Discovery include Storyteller / blog / SEO rewrite?

No. Storyteller, content tools, SEO titles/descriptions/schema, and bulk rewrite are not in Commerce.

Do I need an OpenAI key?

No on Free (no BYOK tab). Agent Discovery includes managed AI — no merchant API key setup for that path.
